We are now looking for a housing supporter/care assistant for Fjällgatan. We offer a developing job where you help make the world a little better - one person at a time! The position is a substitute as needed with great opportunities for longer substitutes during June, July, and August.About FjällgatanFjällgatan Kaprifolen is a group home according to LSS group 1 aimed at adults with a diagnosis within the autism spectrum or intellectual disabilities. Fjällgatan Fenix is a group home according to LSS group 2 for individuals with acquired brain injuries.
About the roleIn the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, shopping, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop or maintain their abilities. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are distributed over all hours of the day, and we have on-call duty.
You will have a group manager nearby who works part of their time in the operation.
Your experience and knowledgeYou should have education in care and nursing or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and following routines but can also prioritize unexpected tasks and events. You always have our users' best interests as the starting point in everything you do.
